Volunteering Uganda
In the last few months, from June till this day, we've had 5 of our volunteers in Uganda, currently there is 1 volunteer there and in several days, another one will join. Volunteer do their work mostly in the orphanage, then in school teaching English language and various sports skills. We have many activities in the program and everyone can choose something that fits them. So far, volunteers have done so much for local community in the name of Blue Angel Organization.
So far, the Organization took care of 67 children through sponsors in Croatia and nearby countries who make regular donations for tuitions or who made an advance payment for the entire year.
Volunteering Kenya
Currently in Kenya, in Akala, we have 5 of our volunteers - doctors who volunteer in local health centers, hospitals, give lectures in local schools about health preservation, AIDS protection, they visit local villages, spend time the children in the orphanage. They buy food for poor families, shoes and school uniforms, mosquito nets. They also visited school with handicapped children. There they read to the children a letter written by scholar Martin Bunić from Centre Tomislav Špoljar in Varaždin, a centre for children with slight degree of mental retardation. The Blue Angel Organization will continue to help the school for handicapped children in town Kisumu. We are proud of our volunteers for contributing to local community where everyone is content and pleased and appreciative of all the help. This is a program for all future volunteers - doctors who wish to be included in volunteering in Kenya
Volunteering India
So far we had two volunteers in India during the summer that helped our project to develop and enable for everyone else who is interested in volunteering in India to help as well.
