Yesterday we visited a numerous family Zahirović that recently got one more member, a little boy Juraj who is only a month old. He is the twelfth child born into Mirsada and Rashid Zahirović' s family for whom we were raising funds for food and other necessities through the whole year.
Yesterday we made them happy with Christmas cookies made by Mrs Tanja who wanted to visit them personally and surprise the little ones with cookies. Besides cookies, we gave kids a lot of toys and clothes donated by kind people and our neighbors. Thank you very much, everyone. Grateful thanks to Vidra kindergarten from Plitvička Jezera that made us happy with the news that they had collected and donated 1.100 kunas to help family Zahirović. The money was immediately transferred to the family who will use it for buying firewood because it is indispensable to them in these cold winter days.
A month ago, "Blue Angel" also visited a big and lovable family Medved who has ten children and the eleventh was to be born between Christmas and New Year. A nice family form Zagreb decided to donate them toys, clothes, stroller, crib and many other things necessary for children, which made kids from Medved family happy and they enjoyed playing with the presents.
We also visited and gave presents to several more families.
It is really a wonderful feeling to give presents to children and the needy and to see the joy and content on their faces.
The joy and content will also be on the faces of sponsored children in Uganda-Bugembe who will receive for Christmas many gifts, mostly the things that they could only dream of.
It is you, dear sponsors, with big hart and full of love who took care of them, you are the ones who made possible that those children get shoes, clothes, blankets, mosquito nets, etc. Owing to the compassionate and loving people who donated money for children in Uganda, ones who still do not have their sponsors will get the gifts as well.

Many thanks to Ivan Švear secondary school from Ivanić-Grad, professor A. Kosovac and the headmistress who joined our project for children in Uganda. They gave us an opportunity to present our organization and to show them projection of the film and pictures made in Uganda. It brought them closer to the way of life of children and people from villages in Uganda and informed students about volunteering with children.
